talking to a peep in a pm said 2 hens went broody She has barred Rocks and RIR

I had a production red and a EE last year that went broody in the fall

I have read a few hens going broody right now. I hope they know something we dont.

I have one brooding right now as well. Dud eggs though as I just recently got new roosters.(fun side note, my tablet just auto corrected rooster to tipster 3 times.) trying to hold out moving her in case I get some eggs from a neighbor.

I have a serama broody but thats pretty normal for them. I should be lucky its only one. Probably all duds here too.

Insurance wanted it in the trash. I guess they did not want to risk the claim for somebody or something to get ill from it. I had to send pictures of it all in the trash can for the insurance adjuster.

Oh well if you got reimbursed for it.

I am going to need you to teach me how to make gravies some day. I know sausage/breakfast gravy but have tried 100 times to make a different kind and its terrible.
