Granny's gone and done it again

I have to go out every night and put those Tolbunt Pullets in the coop. I wish they would wise up.

The oness I lost last night were Black. so they sort of are hard to see in the dark. Where they were found was under on of the twiggy cedars that I want to remove and replace with other evergreens

I am lucky to get one egg a day. Seems I dont need that many because I have about 3 doz. sitting in there. Are they too old ?
the only 1 laying here is the CCL. But I need those egg colors so I’m going to have to wash what is left of em.

We made it to the tree farm! We picked one with a long silly trunk, then had to sacrifice about a foot of it for it to fit in the house. :(

Found a goat that looked just like Beaux... maybe his sibling? Or aunt? He was at the sale barn as a kid because a dog got his mom. It’s near enough to be feasible, or it’s just a coincidence.

I really loved their little goat castle. You could turn the crank and a little scoop of feed would go into the bucket! It was super fun.

And this was a neat sitting area around a fire pit.
