Granny's gone and done it again

Bubba hurt my feelings. He came home and looked at the tree, then said he didn’t want to put ornaments. No reason, just didn’t want to. Then I asked him to grab my phone charger. He rolled his eyes and said “ugh. lazy.” I know he’s a kid, and I didn’t correct him because he’s entitled to his thoughts and opinions. DH said if he keeps saying mean things, no one will like being around him. Bubba apologized, but I’m still sad. :(
I had kid problems today too. I agree it’s the age. And other kids rub their bad behavior off on others.

Josie will stay quiet in hers, but she doesn’t hang out in it for fun.
Our Shepherd knows when it is 11:00 and she goes and gets in her crate. Also if hubby or i get dressed to go to town, she gets in her crate , also without being told.

We had a lab that did that. If anyone put on or took off shoes he would go to his kennel. My dad took off his shoes once and said “why’s your dog in that box?”

Oh yes, I agree with everyone, it is a stage. I think he might be starting to pull away from mommy and identify more with his dad. And it is sad :( because it's one more step in the process of your sweet baby growing up. Luckily for you, your hubs will teach him the right way to grow up (don't be mean) and the good news is eventually Bubba will come back to being his love bug self, especially if you continue to love and hug on him even when it seems he is rejecting you. He isn't, he's just testing. Discipline away, but also prove to him that a mother's love is everlasting. The preteen years for boys can be tough, and you'll have to get through some surly teen years, but it will pass. I had to stick it out for a few years, but my 6'2" 20 yr old is as sweet as ever. :love Still working on the surly 17 yr old, but I have hope. :)

Cap, did the dr figure out what is causing your pain?
He took more Xrays, but didn't order an MRI. Idk how many doctors you need to see to get one done. Based on my symptoms and his exam, he thinks i have a pinched nerve. Despite my sky high BP, no pain pills prescribed. Told him my pain was 9 out of 10. He prescribed steroids, and told me to take one as soon as i got home. Naturally, the pharmacy didn't have the order! Still miserable.

How frustrating. No other instructions on how to treat the problem even it it is a pinched nerve? I don't trust doctors that just want to push pills and nothing else.
