My neighbor planted them all across her front and they are doing great. Maybe I will go get me a Christmas tree after all. LOLI planted 3 of them . I have not been back to look at them.

I thought it looked like a cypress, but never seen one as a Christmas tree. Noble fir, Douglas fir, Fraser fir are the main ones... they come down from Oregon and Washington.Leyland Cypress. We didn’t know until I looked it up just nowWe walked acres and acres of trees. DD wanted a “blue ice.” I’m the only one who wanted pine.
Did you take a Benadryl?I like the tree. The “leaves” are more like succulents or fern fronds than needles. They’re allegedly hypoallergenic, but I guess that’s just for airborne because I still broke out all over where I touched the tree.

I do the exact thing. LOLI like the tree. The “leaves” are more like succulents or fern fronds than needles. They’re allegedly hypoallergenic, but I guess that’s just for airborne because I still broke out all over where I touched the tree.

Is "blue ice" a type of cypress? I would love to have a blue spruce.

Mine lasts just a few hrs. mostlyI spent my childhood outside in the grass and woods and never had a problem. I changed a flat tire on the side of the interstate when I was in college, and got a rash down both arms. I don’t react to poison ivy or sumac, but if I sit in the grass I’ll break out.
