Omg, my doctor prescribed some pain pills! And i got my steroids! And more blood pressure meds. Oh joy.

I spent 6 yrs changing doctors every 3 months cause all they did was hand me scripts for stronger and stronger pills. I did not want to become an addict. Finally lost it on a doctor when he handed me a script for Percocet. I tore it up in front of him and tossed it at him while screaming I want to know WHY I am in pain!
Never had a doctor's jaw drop like that. His nurse came running in the room because I scared her with how loud I screamed it. Got an MRIs and nerve studies and specialists right after. The other doctors who I left ever three months put in my file I was a hypochondriac and drug seeking. I just wanted to know why I was in all the pain.

It is ridiculous what we need to go through to get decent care. And it goes from one extreme to the other, first they over prescribe drugs now you can't get pain pills when you really need them.

Good morning everyone. My BP is out of control. I could feel the blood pulsing in my arms and legs last night. Couldn't find my Bp cuff 174/96 this morning. And the pharmacy STILL doesn't have my steroid rx. I called them. And i have an appt with my family doc. I don't want a heart attack or stroke.

I am so sorry, how long does it take to drive into your town from your house.

After 6 yrs I was used to the pain. It scares me more when I am not numb or in pain.

Drs are not willing to prescribe them anymore because of the epidemic of opioid abuse. It is ridiculous for anyone in pain. Everyone’s tolerance of pain is so different.

My dr said at the beginning of the year I can’t ge5 them from him anymore. I asked to go to on low dose naltrexone .
It is suppose to help with pain. He can’t or doesn’t know about that therapy either.

I am so sorry, how long does it take to drive into your town from your house.

15 or 20 minutes, not too bad. I now have what i need! I guess 5 doctors is the magic number to get help.

Dog show in my town this weekend. Four days. I will be exhausted by Monday.

But the physical therapy in town says they don't take my insurance. So i will have to drive to Hurt, VA. Yeah, it is a real town!
