I can't believe some people just leave animals to give birth outside with no shelter. Then wonder why the babies die!

In all my years of owning animals only the goats gave birth inside a shelter. Heck the cows rarely go in theirs. We had one go down in the creek bed and have a calf. Thank goodness for a dry summer that year.

none! I need to clean the bator good and store it. Again. Oh but the partridge silkie is sitting on 1 egg. It’s getting dark so maybe this coming week?
