Granny's gone and done it again

That is a good thing.

They were old. I figured Binks would get them. He can crack shells easier then I can.
HOW old? And where were they stored. Most store eggs are fine for at LEAST 45 days from when they were packed.

I made a list to take shopping with me and forgot to take the list.
BT- DT. Helps if there is someone at home you can call to read the list to you.

I am upset how i am just not pushing myself to work on stuff but i am just sore and tired.
Well young lady, WE will be upset if you don't rest up your broken part so they can repair. THEN you can push yourself to get stuff done ;)

But I do understand, your Energizer Bunny brain doesn't stop just because your Energizer Bunny body has.

I never "pack" eggs. I bring them in and put them in a basket on the counter til they are used. My hens have been laying an egg a day give or take and I had a good 5 dozen in the basket. I told the house keeper to take as many as she wanted so she picked from the top which would be the freshest and left about a dozen on the bottom. I had already started a new basket for myself . So, ya, they may have still been eatable but I didnt need or want them. When I have eggs I eat the freshest I have. I knew they wouldnt go to waste as they are feeding other critters and the shells will add calcium to the soil. Circle of life. Even for an egg. And it was just as possible they were rotten in a 70 degree kitchen . I didnt test them.

Had Christmas for the fam today. We used the dining hall. Look at this ham I made!

Also made meat pies, and they were killer. My cousin had one and tried to get a second, but two bites in he gave up. My aunt made the bbq meatballs.
