So, If we get this storm as ice we will probably loose electric yet again and no going out in an ice storm. I have 2 small bundles of wood that would last maybe 6 hrs guessing.

I’m thinking of putting a branch for the horn, and moss to hide the joint. DD loves forests, nature, woodlands, etc. Her tastes aren’t changing, but she’s shifting to a more subdued palette. So I’m trying to think if I can repaint, then make the mane and forelock look woodsy, like braids of Spanish moss and burlap, daisy garlands, like that. What do y’all think?

We are talking about adding a new coop, hubs idea! He loves building stuff. We have a nice area picked out, and I was considering Marans for those beautiful eggs!
