what would be worse was if it was a government check for a few grand. They are null and void after a year.

Nope. Nowadays you can't even have a teeter totter / see saw because the cherubs might pinch a finger. Funny, I don't recall that being a big problem when I was a kid.

Can you get it reissued? Not likely a bank would cash a 3 Y/O check. Heck, the account might not even be open any more.

When my father got his back SS check he carried it around in his car for a week. I found it. LOL It was a ton of $$ and I got a new tv out of it !

No clue, and I watched her do it. We were looking for the Spanish moss and I saw it up there and said y’all climb up. And before I was done she was handing clumps down to us.
She’s from Jennings, bet Bama understands more what that means.
