Granny's gone and done it again

well part of that is probably because they actually have "flavor" compared to the 8/10 week old life span factory chicken you get in the stores no days.
I remember my GM frying them and they were delicious. Mine are aweful. I wonder, is it the difference in the feed or the cook ?

or a mix of the two would be my bet. Did she fry in lard, bacon grease, oil or Crisco??? That could make a BIG difference as well.

well, I dont know. Not oil or crisco . They never had that. If she had lard it was probably from a neighbors animal.
