I remember my GM frying them and they were delicious. Mine are aweful. I wonder, is it the difference in the feed or the cook ?well part of that is probably because they actually have "flavor" compared to the 8/10 week old life span factory chicken you get in the stores no days.

Wonder what he charges to tan it. A small fortune I bet .not yet. Pretty sure I could "sell it' to my hide and fur man that stay's here. He buys cow and deer hides.

well, I dont know. Not oil or crisco . They never had that. If she had lard it was probably from a neighbors animal.or a mix of the two would be my bet. Did she fry in lard, bacon grease, oil or Crisco??? That could make a BIG difference as well.
That makes me sad. I probably cant even afford a rabbit pelt .some where between 500 to well over a grand to do a hide.
