Granny's gone and done it again

That's exciting!
yes! Of course she will have them in cold weather. Supposed to be 0F tomorrow night. So I brought her in where it’s warmer but not too warm. Day 30 is tomorrow.
She keeps going in and digging then sitting there. Maybe in the morning I’ll have a surprise.

Oh there’s bully breed in there but he’s got a sweet pettable face. I hope they find a good home for him.

Bad news from the motherland. They’re starting to look at assisted end of life for my nana. (Yes it’s legal in Canada, yes there’s hoops to jump through to mitigate abuse of the system - gotta see three different doctors to agree to it etc)

Red is just hanging out in the brooder. She’s eating and pooping but...sigh. How much time do I give her to turn around? Do I try to give her another epsom salt soak?

Looks sweet, probably a Catahula cross. Better have that mange checked out to make sure it isn't the contagious kind tho'

Humane society called him a pit mix but I was calling him a cur. Probably bits of both. Glass eye and coloring like a cur. He’s such a sweet baby. Temp is dropping fast, wind cuts to the bone. I stapled up feed sacks and gave him a whole bag of shavings but I’m going to run him a heat lamp if I can find a bulb.

I haven’t seen him do anything but sit and watch me like he’s waiting to go to work. He’s not overly thin, so my guess is he was dumped because of the mange. I posted in two local groups saying if his owner claimed him, I’d help with treatment. That’s when the rescue found us.

I’m doing basic bio security: not touching, and if I do I scrub down and change clothes.

I found a soap that works wonders if you can get it. I even use it on me at times.

Its snowing ! So I did this thing in the torture chamber. I had steak strips for stir fry I put some garlic/herb marinade on it and some salt. Made 2 pkgs of ramen noodles .beef and made some broc, then mixed it all together . Meat was sorta tough . I ate half bowl, Robert ate 3.
