No it is fixed
Bruce, I took some pics of the duck house and where I’d like the fence to run. I had to work in the fresh air today, and I’m exhausted. But I’ll try to get them posted.
Duck house, view from bridge.
Facing west-ish, you can see the garden at far left. That row of maple trees in the back is the road (Private, but lots of traffic in summer) and the edge of the pond.
The eastern side of the duck house. Fence would ideally go straight across right here, and just maybe 5-10’ up the bank on the other side.
Western side of the duck house. I’d like a small “grow out” fence just a few feet out so they can swim in a contained space near the house.
You can see the bridge where the scovies like to roost and poop. I do not want that to be an option. Building on the other side is the dining hall, definitely don’t want ducks on the porches.
This is the space between the duck house and the garden. Lots of cover if we don’t clear it out. Fence would sort of skirt the tree line.
This is where the field drains into the pond. Far right you can see the corner of the garden, and the road on the left. Here the fence would follow the waterline. Lots of irises and natural cover straight forward by the maple trees.
Last one of the scrub brush cover, with the pond and garden. The duck house is on the other side of those two pines to the right, right behind the peak of the bean wigwam.
I know it looks huge, but this is the biggest area I would ever need. I think 10 ducks could comfortably roost in the house.

What a long day.
Scovies do. The more domestic ones don’t. And I can clip their wings.
