And no I am not 'old and crotchety" been this way for years and years.

I’m a nice person but I’m usually fed up by the end of shopping so if I open my mouth bad things come out.

I went to the meat counter hoping to find something cheap and he was an older man standing there looking sad and wistful. I srtuck up a convo w/ him about the prices and he felt compelled to tell me he was dying. He has colon cancer . He couldnt afford the meat I guess. I ended up w/ one pk of stew meat and I wish I had gave it to him. I felt really sad for him. I posted in a fb madison group and no one knows him.
