Sure does seem like he needs several times a day monitoring so maybe he can decide NOT to have a soda or whatever. I know he is smart and can understand all this, just in denial. Really, who WANTS to have to deal with type I diabetes? If the doctor's decide he needs insulin I'm sure once he gets in the habit it will be OK, just hard to accept that as an every day thing for the rest of his life. Better than the alternative though. He is trying Bruce. They just doubled his meds. I dont know how long that would take to help. He went from 500 mg metformin to 1000 XR 2nd day I think. I feel like maybe he should be hospitalized til they get it down. We are trying to avoid shots but I think it might be necessary
I know, just looks huge with the trees in the background. The picture is a close up.

Oh no. No bueno. Thanks! I planted two baby fig trees last year, so they’re not really doing much. A deer ate the biggest one down a bit, but they both still seem green so I’m hoping they bounce back. I’m bring Josie to the garden with me today, and I’ll also be peeing out there to see if I can keep the deer away. There are tracks in my raised beds.![]()
