Granny's gone and done it again

no the bowl level is low. I dont know what the tank is. I will look here in a lil while
That is curious. The bowl level is sort of fixed by the shape of the drain, which clearly doesn't change. The only time my bowl level is low is when I pour 4 gallons of water (from cleaning the fish tank) directly into it. That shoves all the water out but there isn't any more coming in from the tank like when you flush.

We are doing that already Bruce but twice a day. He eats all night after I go to bed. Part of the reason I have changed my sleeping habits.
He REALLY needs to cut out that all night eating thing. I know, he doesn't listen to you.

I had another thought. Do you have hard water? There are holes under the bowl rim where the water that fills the bowl comes in. They could be getting blocked with dried salts. You can used a piece of metal wire to poke around in there and see if you can open them up.
