I had to take back the old battery and the wind shield wipers to Wal-Mart today, wipers didn't fit after the guy said they would. I went to Auto Zone after hubby said they had some. Nope. Went to some other place and had to pay freaking $20 per blade for some that fit. What the heck!

They have gone up . A lot. I found a garage that has some for $8.00 and they put them on. You get what you pay for in this case. They work ok , just dont last long.

The person that was supposed to come for guineas tomorrow changed to Tuesday.
The guy that said he wanted the chickens i am selling is trying to get me to sell them for less. Pissed me off. I already had a cheap price. Then he wants a trio. No, i am selling pairs. $25 for a pair of nice Speckled sussex? Not selling cheaper. Buff Polish $15 hen, $10 roo. Selling 4 hens per roo. just feeling tired i guess.

I figure he is a reseller. It just gets on my nerves. These people ask me all these questions and then don't get back to me. They could at least say thanks, i am going to look around or something....

Up to 33 now but one is ftt. It didn’t finish absorbing the yolk. Might try to perk it up with some vitamins. I cleaned all the chicks from the bator except the ftt, and a pure rir. Two eggs are pipped and when they hatch I’ll move it all back home.

The marans/JG are doing really well! Five are out and two pipped. They’re hatching more cleanly than the hatcher babies. Also two pure somethings... not sure. Might be marans, but the eggs are so light it doesn’t matter. They’re all black with white wings/chests.

I’ve had a few that hatched early and hadn’t absorbed the yolk. Keep it warm, dry and isolated. Other babies may pull on it and make it worse. And some antibacterial around the opening.

I think it’s just yolk. I don’t know how intestines would be out. But I don’t know why it’s saggy like that, because it was a normal “ball” this morning.

I did have 1 that had the cord wrapped around the leg and pull the intestine out. I had to cull it.
Could have absorbed a bit more or it ruptured.

My maran that laid the dark egg is a french wheaten . I dont know how many different names I have called it. The cuckoo laid meh brown. They both laid 4 eggs and quit.. They are in 2 different coops , different diet.
