OH one of the boy's at least has keys to the house. They got one set from the neighbor who had been checking up on my uncle a couple times a day for years.

They are not next of kin.

evidently they "found a copy" of the will and the lawyer and at least one of the boy's is an executor so they are "cleared" legally at least.

I have no idea who the lawyer is or where they are located. Guess I could start calling law firms in St Cloud.

My aunt his sister evidently has just "washed her hands" of everything including funeral arrangements or even attending the funeral. There was no rosary/wake the night before either.

When Roberts bio-father died he had went and made a will leaving what he had to his first son and never mentioned Roberts name. Because he didnt leave at least one dollar to Robert that left the will void. I went to a lawyer and yes, I could contest the will and get half for him but he said there wasnt enough $$ in it for him unless I wanted to pay cash. I said no. His first son took everything.
