He had a couple of nice homes, a few cars, good bank account. Worked for the railroad.

My sister did the same to the rest of us when my mom died. Had the locks changed so she was the only one with access. My Mom had no will, but she had signed power of attorney and living will naming my sister and her husband to those. I just walked away from it all.
I also spent 4 yrs proving to the IRS and the state that I had gained nothing from my mother's passing. Apparently, my mother had life insurance that my sister said was split between all 5 of us kids. IRS went through my financials looking for the inheritance I was supposedly given.

When Roberts bio-father died he had went and made a will leaving what he had to his first son and never mentioned Roberts name. Because he didnt leave at least one dollar to Robert that left the will void. I went to a lawyer and yes, I could contest the will and get half for him but he said there wasnt enough $$ in it for him unless I wanted to pay cash. I said no. His first son took everything.

Did he have anything? We’re you married to Roberts father?
