I don't know. It's like me, and I am sure not a savant. Jack of all trades, master of none? Both my boys are the same way, lots of esoteric factoids floating around in our heads, but I would never be able to be on Jeopardy... don't know any of that stuff. Easy to know a little about a lot of stuff, but not an expert at anything.
Your memory works better if it is primed. Being really interested in something helps you retain it better.
