6 out of 14 eggs in lockdown. But these were just eggs that were gathered from Broody silkies that my friend thought something was growing.

Pro, do you know what kind of mites your clucks have? Red mites lay eggs in the coop, so you need to spray everywhere to kill the new hatches. They come out at night to feed on the chickens... you will see them crawling on the roosts. Lice and northern fowl mites live and reproduce on the bird, so more important to treat the bird if that's what they have.

Ugh. That reminds me. I could use a new pitchfork. Still raining. Dusting will be put off til tomorrow. Poor chickens.

I was lucky i got two, one with flat thick tines and one with round tines. Just what i needed.
