No sure about chickens, but I think the feather is a solid color, not like blue feathers, which have different shades of color. The fluff should be the same color as the rest of the feather, maybe?

They use it for rabbits too. I think it is partly the genetics... only blue and black rabbits in the breeding history and the blue hair itself is a solid color... no bands of other colors on the shaft.

Regular raisin bran and cut up a fresh banana in it. Those dried ones are HARD!I finally remembered to pick up the cereal I wanted to try.
Maybe you should give them a call...I got my electric bill. $600. + they havent got my late payment when this one went out and since it was $400+ then it dropped by half.
