I was thinking about silly girl that passed and asking Tom if he remembered. He did. We went to our first swap ever and I dont remember where it was maybe Clarksville but it was a long drive. I had already made arrangements to pick up the 2 sisters and was so excited to go I forgot my wallet ! Oops. We get there and I go to pay cause im already in love and well, damn ! Tom had a little money, I ws driving w/o a license . We were able to scrape up $25.00 for one of them and I was heartbroken. We went home and grabbed my wallet and took right back off . LOL Sisters were reunited for a few yrs. I lost one to egg binding and then Silly girl was top hen for a long time.

So you named her after yourself?

actually I named my turkey Junior after me. She reminded me of me ! Every time I would walk in there she would squat. She would squat for anything.

I need to set the turkey eggs tonight after i wash out that bator. I will put the quail eggs in the Brinsea in case a few more hatch. I really think they are done. And the SS eggs i have left need to go in, i have someone who wants some.

Got a ton of work to do, but my arms hurt and are weak. My neck is messed up again i bet. Tons of aches and pains, feet hurt, hands hurt, back hurts. I am a mess. Took some Motrin today, helped a bit. Hubby had a mixed drink for his back. He is a mess too. He hung the gate for the goat pasture today, all the t posts are in.

I guess I shouldnt complain about him not planning o eating it. He did after all do a lot of the prep helping me cook.I will just be thankful for that. I have been pretending I dont know how to do a few things and he likes to show me up . IE; I chop the garlic he smashes to get the flavor out. My wrist hurt trying to cut the chicken and he was more then willing but having a real hard time because he wouldnt touch it w/ his hands. He made the spaghetti sauce himself. Way more then he would do even last yr.
