It would be hard to keep and eye on any one calving and might be having difficulty doing so and also to make sure the calf is eating and such. The big pasture has lots of places for them to just disappear, this includes Porter. If I could confine the pg ones to the tit the grass would last longer. Also they can give you a rough estimate as to when the cow might be calving. Then I could also swap them around as/if needed.
do they have to trank them to check ? I wouldnt want that if they were pg but dont you have to have a vet come anyway for shots ?
