I told them i wanted to get tested to see what i am allergic to.

Oh, I see why you need to stop the meds.
However, if you are taking allergy pills regularly, and you still have allergic reactions, maybe that will still show up in the test.
Call the dr office before you go in and see what they say.

My son got allergy shots but it wasn't a long trip then.

My brother had it done a few months ago. They did a grid on his back, all in one sitting. He went back a few days later for the inspection, and that was it for the testing. He was negative for everything. Maybe it's quicker when you don't have allergies?

the shots I am talking about is IF you are allergic to something they keep you coming back giving you what your allergic to until you can build up an immunity to it.
