they are "pricey" and only add about 2 weeks to the lifespan compared to the cornishx

I will never do cornish x again. They are the sweetest chickens you will ever own. and why would you be the one doing the butchering ? He wants them.

evidently the calves IYAK ear tags and papers got mailed out Monday. SO as some point I will have to run them back thru the chute for them to get their other ear pierced.

well dang, so do I. I mean, if your willing to order, raise and butcher me some free meat or just the price of the chicks heck ya I will gladly take it.

NO I am SURE it hurts for a moment or three. But they need them in before leaving the farm if/when sold. And it does make it a little easier for the guys to identify who is who. Some how.
