Granny's gone and done it again

They don't charge sales tax on livestock feed here. They do on pet food. Apparently one would only buy sunflower seed for wild birds because they tax that too. I think I should get a pass since the only thing that is fed BOSS here are the same chickens that are fed the tax free layer pellets.
It's the same here. No sales tax on food, so feed for animals you use for food is not taxed either. My folks were tempted to say the feed was for goats instead of horses, but they never fibbed!

My jubilee orph hen found dead today. Thats what happens when you brag on them I guess. @Wyorp Rock saved her life once. Prolapse . I knew she didnt feel good yesterday. I should of incubated her eggs at least once. Looked to be it came back again .
Sorry for your jubilee. I remember how excited you were when you got them. Very common for prolapse to reoccur, so you did great getting her through it once. Don't think she had much chance the second time.

Msorry, beat you by one minute
My first post of the morning was before that. :D

OH and wishing so very sorry about chicory, I kept forgetting to mention/offer my condolences when I was actually here. :hugs:hugs
Thanks Twist. We're all animal lovers here, so I know the sentiment is there, even if it's not spoken, but nice to hear it anyway. :hugs Hubs and I are still in the habit of checking on the bunny, and he's not there. :hmm Having that habit die is one thing I won't mind at all.

I know you worked hard and long for Chicory to live the best life he could and when his time came you made his passing the easiest you could. You are a very good person Wishing. Your husbandry? skills rock. Maybe if you move some furniture around and put something else where he lived it might help with the habit ?

Morning, I heard Texas was hit too .
We just got electric back. Car crash took a pole down. Must of been bad. They say it snapped that pole like a toothpick
We got a lot of hail night before last. Close to golf ball size. No damage except the roses got beat up. There was a strong cedar smell in the air from the cedars getting a thrashing.

I live in an area where we get lots of watches, but have never had a tornado. Now, 45 minutes northwest of us, they're getting tornadoes all the time. Interesting weather, eh? :p
When I was young and lived in Fl. we were put in the back of a pick-up truck and my friends parents would chase tornados. I didnt mind it. I have always loved a good storm

And Wishing thought it was tuesday. LOL
I did? Which day was that?

95 here today, what the hay!
Too hot! We stayed below 90. Hope it's cooler today.

A bad tornado went through my college town early this morning. Two deaths reported so far. I have three staff coming from that town. The campus was heavily hit, and an area near the interstate.

I lived in both of these houses in college. This is the area where the deaths were reported.

Oh dear. Makes it more real when you've been there. Hope there aren't any more deaths.
Tornadoes skeer me

Cedar smells nice. We have rows of eucalyptus trees around here, planted as wind breaks. Hail makes them smell too... like cat pee! :sick
