It's the same here. No sales tax on food, so feed for animals you use for food is not taxed either. My folks were tempted to say the feed was for goats instead of horses, but they never fibbed! They don't charge sales tax on livestock feed here. They do on pet food. Apparently one would only buy sunflower seed for wild birds because they tax that too. I think I should get a pass since the only thing that is fed BOSS here are the same chickens that are fed the tax free layer pellets.
Sorry for your jubilee. I remember how excited you were when you got them. Very common for prolapse to reoccur, so you did great getting her through it once. Don't think she had much chance the second time.My jubilee orph hen found dead today. Thats what happens when you brag on them I guess. @Wyorp Rock saved her life once. Prolapse . I knew she didnt feel good yesterday. I should of incubated her eggs at least once. Looked to be it came back again .
My first post of the morning was before that.Msorry, beat you by one minute

Thanks Twist. We're all animal lovers here, so I know the sentiment is there, even if it's not spoken, but nice to hear it anyway.OH and wishing so very sorry about chicory, I kept forgetting to mention/offer my condolences when I was actually here.![]()
