Oct of 2015 is when I got my initial herd of Porter and 5 girls and then added the 3 royals a year latter and then last oct traded 4 yearling bulls for a 11 yr old cow and 2-2 year old heifers. BUT last summer was tuff lost 2 of the original cows and a calf.

That long ago?? Wow, we have been chatting here for years! Seems like you just got them. Time flies.

We had chickens when I was a kid. Merry was the only friendly one, like a barred rock Polish cross. I don't remember any other individual ones. She's the only one that got named.

He had an appointment yesterday. All is fine, except how much they charged when I checked out. Was just supposed to be xray recheck. They did a whole battery of xrays. I should have asked BEFORE I went in. Will not make the same mistake again.
Scooter is doing great. No more seizures, and he is getting used tot he meds. Not so loopy today.

Yes, he's getting back to his old self a little bit more every day. I would really have missed him. Hope the seizures aren't caused by some other fatal condition, but I will give him the best life I can for as long as I can.
