Granny's gone and done it again

because "granny" was taken ???
You're on your own, buddy.

Rod and I together could NOT pick green fresh grass fast enough to "satisify' Curly this morning. OH and there were scratches and hugs and I got well I am going to call them kisses from Curly BUT probably more like muzzle thru the fence snuff's informing me she was "NOT DONE" with the grass yet.
No pictures? :( She must be getting big.

that and fixed YET more fence that Rod has managed to break in the past 2 weeks and then changing tires on the flatbed trailer, hadn't eaten, 2 pots of coffee and a few other things.

Added another heat lamp to the brooder room as I can't seem to get the temp up. Seems stuck at about 80* ambient ground temp so warmer right under the heat lamps
:barnie You need to start carrying small snacks w/ you and actually take breaks .

nope forgot the camera BACK in the truck and then once the electric fence was up and "zapping" I couldn't get to where she was.

All of last year's calves and Martinika come running towards human when we first pull up in a truck , so they are taming down :yesss:

that cock is adorable and I dont care for black chickens . The one from today was part of this batch ? They dont have red combs yet.

Not his, those were my donated eggs. About two thirds hatched some form or black. Yes, “she” is part of that group.

well, I am wrong 90% of the time and I thought it was a rooster today.

So I think I am going to put Tibbits, Sunny , Nugget and Janet in a separate area come breeding season. Then if I get a bull calf I like there won't be any or more removed relationship to the main herd and the replacements I am keeping. Then in a couple/3 years I will Sell :fl Tibbits, Nugget and Sunny as a small "starter herd"

I watched a 2 min video of it killing something. Probably a sea lion. Was a lot of blood.
From below, person on a surfboard looks a lot like a seal. White sharks zoom straight up and chomp the board, if the guy is lucky. They will chomp the surfer, but wet suits evidently don't taste good to white sharks and they spit em out.
