One item of sentiment, even huge, would be better than the thousands of little personal family effects just lying in wait, ready to provoke all sorts of memories and tears and demanding to be kept forever. It's bad. Boxes and boxes of photo albums kept by my grandma and her mom and her grandpa who was a photographer. oy!

Well. Found peach’s leash yay. That’ll come in handy for the vet trip. Bucky is roaming the backyard - he doesn’t get free roam of the dog yard when peach is back there just because I’ve noticed him giving her some stink eye before - last thing I need is my old girl getting flogged by a roo. (She does get bullied by the chickens) I’d be setting them both up for failure by doing that. The hens can free range with peach to their hearts content but as much as I do adore my little man - and I get along well with him....don’t trust him.

When I get back from the vet I’ll have to head back out and hit up the grocery store and then maybe I can plant the rose.

My husband...

Killing me. Just added a +$400 truck part to the shared amazon card. His birthday is tomorrow.

I’ve already got him ear defender/Bluetooth headphones (safety first yo! Our tractor is loud) and a ryobi tool he wanted (and was planning on picking up a second tonight) AND some fancy mechanics hand soap that oreillys had on sale. So almost $300 on his birthday.

On top of the almost 3k he’s spent in the past month on his truck...

Yeah. Stop. Just stop right there husband.

My husband does the same and then complains that I never buy him anything for his birthday or other occasions.
