Busy day today. #2 graduates tomorrow (my baby!). Then on Sat he and hubs head off on the big road trip to Montana for college orientation. #1 and I will have things to ourselves for a week. Easy cooking!
Got busier today when #2 found a chicken walking in the road and tossed it in the trunk of his car. Poor little chicken! See?

haha NOT! Taking it to the Bird Rescue Center in the morning. Red Tailed hawk baby. #2 was trying to get it off the road when some moronic woman couldn't figure out how to slow down and avoid the bird at the same time. She hit it! the stupid driver. Luckily #2 said it was not a direct hit... kind of grazed it and it tumbled away. Thank god she didn't hit my boy or I'd be typing to you from jail.Anyway, #2 got serious, pulled off his shirt, wrapped up the hawklet and put it in his trunk. It seems in pretty good shape. Hope the rescue people will be able to find its parents and reunite them tomorrow.
Got a nice quiet room in the garage for the night.

Glad it's safe inside. Cold and very windy tonight. Cheerful little tyke, eh?
I am really tired today. Got up early due to loud quail chirping. I have been going to sleep a bit earlier too. I guess the rain makes me drowsy. She looks better then she did.
I remember that Wishing. I wouldnt have if you hadnt of brought it up though.
I am fighting sleep. PITA Kept me up most the time. Once was him staring me in the face.
Seems to me it was 5 months.155 days?
thank you , This has just been an UN-usual litter. Got up this am and looks like a liquid poo fight took place in the box last night. 2 pups got baths. Thinking either Lu has been getting to many eggies OR the high temps caused it. Keeping an eagle eye on them today. Other then poo Everywhere pups are acting "normal" well as normal as anything around here anyway.[/QUOTGet some probiotics for everyone. Feed store has it.
Good morning everyone! Those little quail do have numbs on top of their heads! Super tiny babies!
