Granny's gone and done it again

there are some with just a few and some go all out

Mine is between these two. And they covered the eggs the other day. I dug them out.

probably , mine didn't start truly 'sitting" until they felt they had enough eggs. Which was 20 under the one and no idea under the one still brooding
Oh yikes. How do they even cover that many!? I only have 3 hens and have only been getting 2 eggs a day.

No rain here Alley but really muggy.
this happened yesterday too I believe. Came from nowhere but down poured bad enough that I had small streams running in front of the coops!

I need a month of 80F and no rain.
 
I wont be able to mow if it rains again. COME ON RAIN !

If mice are just as afraid of me as I am them then why do they always run towards me ?
Just like them flying cockaroaches in Fl. I remember first time I seen one it was chasing me ! I ended up in the sink.

They are hiding them and keeping them cool. They wont set til like Twist said, they have a good amount. Not the same as chicken behavior. Camping has had some good hatches..
