everyone says soak them and ease the poop off but I dont. I do it like a bandaid and then it wont come back. Nothing to stick to.
Thanks on the chick. I should of pulled them when they hatched. The mama wont leave the nest w/ them. One of them is a week old . They are just up there on extra shavings and its not clean . I tried giving water in the nest box but mama kicks all the shavings in.

I had 1 like that. Would set until all eggs would hatch then sit on the empty nest.

Had that happen last year. I cracked a egg for the cats and about barfed.
