They don't realize how high they are in hatchery catalogs either per bird plus shipping....



I know they go for a good $ at a small animal auction I go to. they are also small babies I am guessing (unless they only come in a miniature) and these I see are rarely if ever pedigreed (or at least they are not offered with papers, I would suppose if they are pedigreed they would have offered the papers and had the buyer file it however they need to and pay any fees that are associated with it).

Yes lionheads are dwarfs. But there are larger hairy rabbits too.

I let the giant cochins and the bantam birds that live in that coop out in the chicken yard today. Hope they find their way back in easily. I got some free corn on the cob and bananas yesterday, so the birds are enjoying that.

Oh, and I am painting wood for the run I am building for the packing crate coop. It should dry fast with the heat.
