Granny's gone and done it again

couldnt you just bake a cake and slice some ice cream up and put it in the middle ? :idunno Thats like $4.00 then another dollar for icing
The cake is almost all ice cream. Just some crumbles and gooey fudgy stuff in the middle.

I think I might go to bed, didn't get an afternoon nap today since I was making meatloaf and peeling potatoes. I did pull a bucketful of weeds and gave them to the rabbits today. Hubby was talking about putting salt on the driveway. I would rather just pull the weeds and get it over with.

Morning all. Ling in the incubator has 2 pip holes now. Maybe tonight I'll have a baby!

I can't afford health insurance, so I don't have it. You have to wheel me into a clinic because I have to be in bad shape to go. I dont have vision or dental either. They want $300 for a cleaning, that's $600 a year. Thats almost 2 full work checks from the school. Thank goodness I can see because I cant afford glasses either lol

I'm not saying I need this or that but a affordable insurance that you could get at any point would be nice. Most have very short windows to even apply for and if you miss it then you are SOL.
300 for a cleaning. It’s only 100 here is calif.

Then you pee behind a dumpster ;)

Ale is good, I'm with Twist, don't give a rat's patootie about professional sports.

yep, there is a reason people don't hold car salespeople in high regard. I do my vehicle shopping online. No way I'm going to sit there and let some bozo try to increase his commission by goading me into things, especially when they are either totally uninformed about the product they are selling (or outright liars).

Yep, we live in the only 1st world country where access to medical care is unaffordable or restricted to those with money or employment that includes medical insurance.

DD1 turned 26 in March and thus was tossed off DW's employer coverage. At the time she was at school in Canada and covered by insurance there. When she came home she was able to get insurance through Vermont Health Connect ONLY because she had been dropped from the prior insurance due to having had "the" birthday. So now we are paying $608/month for her insurance through this month. School starts Sept 2 and she will again be covered in Canada. She is planning to stay there next summer which is probably a good thing because she would NOT be able to get VHC insurance again starting next April because she wouldn't have one of those "life event" things. Have to sign up during the fall "sign up window". Doesn't matter that she'll have had insurance elsewhere. The only way she could have VHC coverage is if we continued to pay for it even though she would be in Canada and couldn't use it, no doctors "in network" up there, eh.
So your go8ng to vote for Bernie , free health care for all.
