Granny's gone and done it again

hearing dr. said Tom is a candidate for an implant . I said Nope, just the one hearing aid will do. Then his friend called from Mi. and sounded like he got mad because I said I couldnt bring Tom down. His sister is dying .
That's sad. :( How old is his sister?

My baby goats are big and my husband comes home today! I did a live feeding yesterday and dropped my phone. It was chaos.

We have tons of babies this year. The second hatch has gone better than the first. There are several large groups of youngsters all over the neighborhood. Tiny little things and the fly so well.

I have to be very careful opening doors to feed or water, they fly off and are gone. I try to do that stuff after dark for them.

The wild birds are making a huge racket outside. Shut up already, I am resting here. I don't even hear the roosters yet.
The scrub jays have been having a turf war out back. Crazy amount of noise every morning. Last week there was a fatality when the 2 warring families were having a scuffle right behind the house.
Poor young one hit a window. Broke its neck. Tail wasn't even grown in and still baby feathers on the back. Mama was inconsolable... but it all sounds very angry from a jay

awww . Did you steal some feathers ? I did from a blue jay and sent them to Alley.

Next week Wishing ? Time sure flys hu? Are you taking him or will he take himself ? He will need a car right ?
Hubs and #2 will drive up with the car loaded. No room for me, so I will fly up the next day and drive back home with hubs. #1 will be here guarding the fort.

NO CAR for him the first year, although hubs has moments of weakness, so I remind him NO. Freshmen are required to live in the dorms, and all meals are provided with the plan we chose. Only have to show student ID and he can ride the bus around town for free OR he can ride his bicycle OR he can bum a ride from his roommate, or hopefully from some of the new friends he will meet. That's mostly the point of no car. Also, he needs to focus on school. Has to keep a B average to keep his scholarship. Cost of out of state tuition triples without that scholarship, so it's his JOB to keep it. He is doing an electrical engineering major and doesn't have any idea how hard it will be. The path he took in high school didn't really challenge him, so we will see... but the fewer distractions the better.
