not really as most of lu's nipples are black and the rest I sort of knew. Will try to remember to call the vet in the am and check out the price

I honestly don't know   they did do xray's (I think) the last time after the pups were born because I thought there was a pup still in there.   Thus we have proof that I am NOT good at palpating bellys  

No that's normal, it feels like a puppy is left when they are done. It's their uterine horns before they shrink down.
