Ugh. Oh my gosh. Southern California weather has gone FULL ALBERTA.

When I left this morning it was supposed to be hot and sunny. Peach and bitties were left outside in the yard.

SUDDEN THUNDERSTORM OF FREAKING DOOM

...so now I’m asking my friend (who also has chickens) if by the time she’s got her kid from the school pick up line if the storm is still raging if she can let peach inside for me.

She told me it might be an hour.

AN HOUR YALL. TO PICK UP HER CHILD. WHAT THE FUDGSICLES SCHOOL PICK UP LINES AMERICA WHAT IS THIS.

I could try texting another neighbor but I don’t think peach would leave our property and as much as I love my neighbors and all I don’t want to give them code for the door.

Hey y'all just checking in. Got the goats moved up to the stalls and my goodness were they heavy! I let the 2 smaller ones follow me up. They dont seem too happy with their new area at the moment but I'm sure that will change once we get their fence up. They have a big round bale of hay to munch on and I filled their mineral feeder up and gave them some beer pulp.

9 eggs today. Both my feet have numerous fireant bites. They got me when I was removing battery from gd's 4 wheeler. Dh had mowed grass so I couldn't see that I was standing on a bed.
