Half the package of noodles for the first night. Cook up the rest of the noodles when you reheat for leftovers. If the broth is watery, add a teaspoon of this.
At Walmart near the canned soups

There is also beef chicken and vegetable soup base which is similar...

I called the pharmacy. Three months of my medication cost $55. One month with insurance is $5. So I guess I have to keep getting a month at a time. What a pain.
Hiss!!

Ugh. Such a day. So did my workout last night. Was a hard one. Text hubs while I was doing my cool down on the treadmill saying what I was going to do for dinner would take too long would chicken fajitas be ok?
Nope. He wanted me to go to a Mexican restaurant and grab some takeout. Apparently he hadn’t eaten since breakfast that morning. And hadn’t been snacking after coming home. (Why? There’s food at home...) so he was hangry. So I was sad cause that sabotages me a bit. Ok. Get it anyway, pick my battles, throw the chicken breasts in the freezer for a weekend recipe and continue on. He comes to bed late as usual (fortnite) and so sleep doesn’t happen til well past bedtime.

Ok. Wake up don’t wanna wake up. Hit snooze twice (my bad). Shower, take care of bitties, water bitties and peach (and fed peach too!) and remember bucky’s water looked kinda low last time I looked at it. So hike down to the big coop. Yep. He needs water. I could have gone another day maybe but I dont like pushing that - since that can kill them a lot quicker than forgetting to feed. So back up to the house full the waterer (hose by the coop ain’t working cause he hit the line with the weed whacker and hasn’t fixed it....) go back down to the coop get him all settled, and hike back up again to the house wash my hands let peach out and mention that I’m running super late now. “Well if you go now you’re still there for 8 so no you’re not” “uh, husband, I start work at 7:30. It’s now 7:10. So yes. I was late. Just barely beat boss lady in. And there’s ants in the kitchen. But we just had the pest control out yesterday. So of course, mama kat has to grab her spray cleaner and spray to kill these mofos and wipe down the floor in the kitchen and the men’s bathroom (that was gross) boss lady “but we have a service!” “But that doesn’t help us NOW.” Call in the guy comes in and puts some gel bait down. So now we have ants feeding off the bait.

And then I get messages from the friend who’s truck has been sitting at our house a few months. Apparently one of his friends was coming to get it - and he’s going by route of some quarantine areas. Oh and he should be there in a few hours - before we’re home. So I said dude. Tell your friend to wait. With the poultry plagues going on I can’t have anyone else on the property. So pushed that off a few hours. Ugh. Stress.

Nice talking to you . Hope everything works out w/ Scooter.
He is fine. Vet said the cloudiness is from old age and nothing you can do about it. There was no ulcer... she said the eye heals quickly, so could have healed in the couple of days or it was a particularly sneaky hair, artfully arranged, and stuck in place from being dry. Either way, he got a clean bill of health and I finally found a veterinary I like. She will renew his seizure meds over the phone, so will save me the $250 the other vet wanted to do the blood level test for the meds before renewing.

Scooter is feisty today... feeling better, so whatever it was, gone now.

Generation X was the one right before me. Think grunge era. I’m technically a millennial (was supposed to be called Generation Y), and I’ve been calling everyone on staff millennials. But I learned recently that they are in fact generation Z.

I identify as a Xennial, a niche micro generation that does not really fit into either the cynical Generation X or the idealistic millennials. I was able to have a technology-free childhood and roam the neighborhood with my friends, ride in the front seat of a car, stay out until the porch light came on, no participation trophies, etc. But I was young enough to be comfortable with technology as it developed, was the first generation of kid to have a home computer and cell phone, things like that. It’s very interesting to read about. There have been lots of studies.

Since Bee is an Aussie, things might be different for her.
My boys don't fit into the categories either. Their childhood was similar to yours. :)

Curly on the left and yep a yak to the right.
Curly is getting big!

Never heard of them.
What generation am I ? Or was that before generations ? LOL
Our parents were the Silent Generation. Grandparents were the Greatest Generation (fought world wars and built the bulk of the US infrastructure)

He said me seeing the coon a couple days or next day after was just taking advantage of the kill . You think thats right ?
Were there any chickens just dead without any marks on them? Weasels and kin will bite through the back of the head... hard to see the marks.
If raccoons come in at night, they can kill a lot of birds... chickens can't see well.

see what I mean and no flys around thanks to the ducks and the pours View attachment 1909957
Poor Cassie. Does look like bites, or she might have gotten into some plants with irritating/toxic sap. Curious that none of the others have abused noses...

Wishing, they were tore into shreds. It was a blood bath. Wings hanging off the roosts, heads in one spot, a couple of whole bodies but I didnt check them out. Found a foot outside the coop along w/ some other parts from different chickens.
