It hurt before the pop . that has to be it right ? I took 2 steps and it hurt bad. I stopped CB got my cane . I started a 3rd step when it popped . It was very loud. You know those little firecrackers you just throw on the cement to make them go off ? Thats how it sounded to me anyway.

You might have torn a ligament which would make a popping sound. Best thing to do is ice it, stay off it as much as possible, and see if it's better tomorrow. Hopefully it was just a tendon snapping back into place.
