Mollie just came by and picked up some pullets, chicks, and eggs. She got my naked neck chicks, and the cutest ones. I think only black ones are left. Not my fav, but it’s fine. I didn’t charge her, it’s a trade for her watching my farm at Christmas.

I went out and built the frame for the door of the run. And cut some pieces of pallet to size. Did some painting and staining. Hope to finish that side tomorrow.
It was sprinkling in Gretna, but we got no rain here. I think one of the pecan trees died.

Makes me sad. You dont even have much winter do you ? Mid 90s here. Should be 70s .

Not much winter, but it’s cheaper for us to just get new birds in the spring. I need to give her 3 more pullets and eat my roos, then I’ll be at good numbers.

Mollie thinks my teensy TSC chicks are banty game chickens.

I had to look that up, not never ending but SO frequent and for so long. I GUESS one gets used to it but I can't imagine living there. up to 300 lightning strikes per hour???
