Brother is on his way to Hawaii. Went from Houston to Boston to Cally some where and then over to Hawaii then about 2 days there and back again not sure how the return trip goes

there are lots of bakery type recipes that use sour cream, Like sour cream raisin pie
and some cakes and cookies as well.

I think there is a pancake recipe that uses sour cream as well.

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup milk
½ cup sour cream
1 egg (slightly beaten)
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
