GOOD lord the ice was so thick on the truck last night I had to let the defroster blow and truck run for over 1/2 hour before trying to drive. My ice scrapper just sort of skidded across the top of the ice.

Ugh. I hate that ice. And when the frost just completely resists scraping too. Vile.

Another sick bantam cochin hen. Nasty butt and respiratory gurgle . So she is in the barn, with a heater. Going to give her vet Rx and some mashed egg when I go back out in a little bit. I do have some antibiotics if needed.

Thanks. I knew that was the likely outcome, but I kept hoping someone there needed pets. He said his kids will enjoy them, so I’m believing they’ll have a nice life until they have a nice death.

I quit raising meat goats in TN and switched to dairy for that reason.

Bubba is enjoying his power /leadership with the naming of the kitty. As long as he is calling the shots that kitty wont ever have a name. LOL I find it very cute and MALE like.

I took a nap. Bandit woke me up. I guess he figured I had enough. He didnt want anything other then to wake me. SS said we would get the check this month and well, tomorrows never promised so its all good for now. Not that they would know it but Robert was on the verge of a melt down while we were there. It was very crowded and he was hearing something I wasnt and it was driving him up the wall. He was trying to tell me but I didnt understand what noise it was and he screamed "Are you deaf?" See, Robert hears everything. He can hear someone chewing gum across from him just as loudly as me talking next to him. He hears all sounds the same equally and cant filter out others to hear one. Imagine 20 people all talking to you at the same time and you hear them all. He later told me a woman was grunting or making a growling noise over and over.

He is very stubborn. My grandma used to get the giggles and puff up with pride. “That’s the Cox blood.” She loved willful children, as long as they weren’t rude and had good manners.
