Those are my favorite beans. I mostly use them for everything including chili.

She did that for all of us kids when she figured she wasn't going to beat cancer a second time, wrote out her favorite and then ours favorite recipes and but in boxes , we all got them for the last Christmas she was with us.

Once I tried baking soda. I could taste it and must of used too much. Mom said it takes all the fun out of eating them
