These chicks are hatched from a silver laced rooster over chocolate hens. The goal for me is to get a black split to silver laced and chocolate male which I will be able to breed back over my silver laced hens as an early step to chocolate silver laced. These chicks hatch out visually black with some brown on their face. Only the males will potentially carry chocolate which will have to be determined with test breeding.
