I didn't get to last year and it was an awkward feeling.

This is my second year not doing them. I’ve accepted my fate.

Met a neighbor today, very sweet lady. Old enough to be my mom. She has two little chihuahuas and said she would watch the kids for us, and we were welcome any time.

DH and a friend unloaded the truck today. I managed to take a five-hour nap. We haven’t officially closed, so I don’t want to unpack. DH has lived away from us for two months, so we’re all having a little trouble adjusting. He was living his best bachelor life and didn’t have anything in the house: no dryer sheets or dish soap, no dust pan, and no food. There was a flat of water in the fridge, that was it. So I got a few groceries today.

I lost bubba's suitcase of clothes somewhere along the way, which is a real bummer. DH bought him a few things at goodwill. He has new clothes for Christmas, wrapped and under the tree.

Old Chuck is still in hiding, but the kitten is having a great time exploring the tree and the empty rooms. I have them set up in the laundry room. Chuck will come out for pets if I talk to him, otherwise he keeps out of the way.

Hugs camp. Hopefully the suitcase turns up. Moves are chaos and I often wonder how our menfolk function....

Morning all, I havent started anything. I dont wanna . Second guessing my choices of food. At least I got instant mashed potatoes.

Are you here Camping? I forgot. I have the stick of cream cheese / I dont know what its called but do I mix that by itself then fold the cool whip in?
