Same here. Dreading this day for Tom.

It is never easy. They told my Dad if he didn't have the surgery he wouldn't live a year. So he had it and died in a week. These decisions are so difficult.

I think today they will just cut the dead skin away . Your FIL has the same thing just isnt involving the bone right ? How is he doing ? Do you know what they will do for him?

I'm sorry. I had to leave for a while. I went into the coop to play with the hens. They love having my attention, and a little bit of treats. Seems I'm still top of the pecking order! Gave the roos some too.

At least you can get them all going at once. Were the rooms carpeted?

No carpet, but the next worse thing: cheap laminate. It’s warping in places from the frequent flooding.

I am not sure if the bone is involved but necrotizing fasciitis is very serious. Idk what they plan to do. I don't think he wants surgery. He has dementia too.

Granny, how is Tom doing? Did he go in today for a procedure with his bone infection? How did it go?
