Granny's gone and done it again

Has me thinking about her.. She lived in a converted chicken coop and loved her "little house" her son built her. When it came to the point of her not taking care of herself mom took her home. I lived next door. I went to spend time w/ her every day and if mom needed to go out I would sit w/ her. Long before I ever met Tom: GM and I were out for a walk and there was an old man sitting on my neighbors porch on the other side of me. GM stopped to talk. He told her he had just had his foot amputated and she told him she had school marm legs. (pretty young legs) . Then she lifted her dress to show him ! all the way up to the knees. This not something GMs do. LOL Anyway, couple yrs later I found out, That old man sitting on the porch was Toms dad.

And this is why I have no water. Sigh. No shower for me this morning.

not supposed to get over freezing til after 8? I think peach may stay inside today....sigh. Thank god for pee pads. Yes she’s a Canadian girl but she is getting old.

good morning all.

My grandmas were all very proper. As a kid, due to divorces and remarriages and a couple greats, I had seven grandmas I would see on the regular.

The most inappropriate thing my Donny every said was “don’t do any of that heavy neckin, you’ll get pregnant.” Years later I realized she was speaking from experience.

Good morning everyone.
On the grandma topic, my maternal grandmother died at 43. So I never met her. My Dad's mother lived in PA, and we lived in NY. But we did visit. Once my Dad took us fishing in Canada. I caught a huge northern pike! We were using whole frogs as bait. It was a memorable trip. Granny loved fishing.
