Granny's gone and done it again

I got him at the Detroit dog pound . He has always been the most loving cat. He has a white T on one leg and a big heart on his side. Every time I sneezed he would meow 2xs sounded like bless you and when I sang to him he would flatten his ears against his head. hahaha I dont sing anymore.

Rod had to pull Porter out of the creek evidently Porter had a hind leg stuck? behind him and couldn't get out. As of darkish he hadn't "really" moved from where Rod left him up and out of the creek.
Said it didn't look like a broker leg to him and he has worked cattle for years. Should I have to haul him to the vet not sure how I would either get the trailer down to him or him up to the gate to load him up. AND not sure the vet would be willing to work/check on Porter in the middle of the big pasture.
Oh no that’s not good.
