I've been thinking ( I know dangerous) I could get an older bull. Like 10 or so and then eat him after 3 breeding seasons. They are usually MUCH cheaper.

But how fertile are they when older?

My yellow guppy threw me some good looking yellow littles a couple weeks ago. Im glad she was knocked up w/ her own color

"they" claim 8 or 9 is when the bull is in his prime and then gradually slopes downward. BUT some bulls are just as good at 15 as in their "prime"
