If not I have 3 seashells on my counter in there. Just gotta figure out what to do w/ them. LOL I saved them from the restaurant and last night was the 2nd time I put them on to boil and forgot them.

Hubs and I drove down to SanFrancisco to pick up #2son from the airport. It was eerie how little traffic there was. Usually wall to wall. If we didn't know better, would have thought we were driving at 3am with everyone home sleeping. Fastest trip down and back we ever made! Last time i can remember so few cars on the roads was after Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989.

Thats scary hu? Everyone trying to stay home to keep from getting sick I guess. You lived through a bad earthquake ? Did it damage your house or what ?
I just woke Robert up. I am going to try and go out today. If its crazy I will just come home.

Good luck shopping. Hubs and I are going out pretty soon too, just to check things out. I will see you later. :frow

Lady I know has a smaller version of that sign in her garden.

I am thinking the milk and eggs will get to the stores... it's not like it can be stored forever. Don't forget CVS carries those things too. Maybe you can call ahead and see if they have what you want before making the trip.
Living in earthquake country, I am prepared. Got enough food for a few weeks for the whole family. Might not be exactly what we want to eat, but we won't starve.

They are trying to slow the spread as much as possible. If we have a huge amount of folks getting very sick all at the same time, there will not be enough hospital beds and necessary equipment to treat everyone. That is what happened in Italy... they have a large senior population, and a lot of them are dying because the hospitals are overfull.

 I like cooked cabbage, especially in Chinese stir fry.

Washington state is the worst because the virus got into a retirement home, and the older people don't handle this virus well. It hit them before they really knew what it was.

I think grocery stores are about the only place people are going to keep open for sure. You might have to get creative and buy food you don't normally eat. :(

In the dark where it's cool. Brown paper bag is good on the floor of a pantry. They go green and the eyes will sprout if they get in the light.

:idunno huh? I don't get this one.
Me either.

The more I read about Coronavirus, the more scared I get. The article noted that airborne Coronavirus stays viable for three hours! Holy crap! Someone could cough an hour before you enter a store, and you would never know it was floating around. I figured if you stayed at least 6 feet away, you would be ok. Wrong.
